We are seeking an experiencedSenior Product Managerto join our healthcare consulting practice. The role is fully remote within the US however you must reside in the Vacaville/Sacramento CA area. The organization is retiring multiple legacy systems and requires expert consulting support to analyze map convert and migrate legacy data. The engagement includes reviewing legacy data sources defining business and technical requirements and guiding end-to-end migration activities.

The Senior Product Manager will lead the transition from:

• Lead functional and technical analysis for legacy data conversion.
• Collaborate with Product Support EPMO Data Strategy and technical delivery teams.
• Ensure data integrity lineage accuracy and alignment with business rules.
• Provide domain expertise in insurance data structures and dependency mapping.

What youll do

Discovery & Assessment

• Review legacy data across historical and current systems.
• Document existing data structures definitions flows and constraints.
• Identify risks gaps and limitations impacting the conversion.

Data Mapping

• Define detailed business and functional data conversion requirements.
• Develop source-to-target mapping documents and data dictionaries.
• Facilitate SME validation and requirement signoff.

Migration Planning

• Collaborate with technical teams to define migration approach sequencing and transformation logic.
• Develop conversion testing scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support cutover planning and quality controls.

Execution Support

• Participate in conversion execution cycles.
• Review data exceptions and support defect resolution.
• Validate completeness accuracy and adherence to business rules.

Governance & Documentation

• Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance standards.
• Collaborate with IT Data Architect
• Maintain complete documentation of conversion logic lineage and decisions.
• Provide regular reporting to project leadership.

Qualifications

• 510 years experience in Product Management or Senior Business/Data Analysis
• Strong background in data conversion mapping and migration methodologies
• Experience with insurance data structures and legacy system constraints
• Ability to interpret technical APIs ETL logic and data exchange patterns Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
