Senior IT Interface Analyst

Location: Troy MI 48083 (Remote with occasional onsite travel during Go-Live)
Duration: 32 Weeks Contract-to-Hire
Interview Process: MS Teams 30-minute initial interview followed by panel interview

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Interface Analyst / Epic Tapestry Consultant with strong hands-on Epic Tapestry configuration expertise. This role requires direct hands-on keyboard experience designing building configuring and optimizing Epic Tapestry solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Utilization Management and experience across other Tapestry functional areas including Enrollment Provider Management Appeals & Grievances and Membership Administration.

This is a configuration-focused position responsible for implementing new workflows enhancing system functionality automating business rules and delivering scalable payer solutions. The role is not limited to operational support or work queue management.

• Bachelors Degree required

• Epic Tapestry Foundations Certification required

• Epic Tapestry Utilization Management Certification required

• Minimum 3 years of recent healthcare industry experience

• Strong hands-on Epic Tapestry configuration and build experience

• Experience working in payer environments and health plan operations

Must have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Epic Tapestry Utilization Management and/or Case Management

• Epic Tapestry Appeals and Grievances

• Epic Tapestry Membership Eligibility and Enrollment Administration

• Epic Tapestry Provider Management

• Provider/Vendor Contract Management

• Epic Tapestry Core Applications

• Design configure test and implement Epic Tapestry solutions

• Build and enhance system functionality to support business objectives

• Implement new workflows and process improvements

• Configure and automate business rules within Epic Tapestry

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements

• Support system optimization initiatives and go-live activities

• Participate in testing deployment and production support efforts

• Document system configurations and technical solutions

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable payer solutions

• Epic Business Intelligence Developer (BID) experience

• Common Spec / DINE experience

• Epic Clarity SQL query development and optimization

• Epic Cogito experience

• Epic Caboodle Data Model experience

• Reporting Workbench report and extract development

• SQL and/or PL/SQL development experience

• Data analysis and reporting expertise

• Healthcare data integration and interface experience

• Medicare line of business experience

• Knowledge of Medicare regulations and payer operations

• Experience with Epic Provider/Payer Shared Instance environments

• Experience supporting integrated health plans

The successful candidate will be a highly technical Epic Tapestry professional with demonstrated experience building and configuring payer solutions. Candidates should have a strong background in Utilization Management or other Tapestry application areas and be comfortable driving configuration efforts workflow design and system enhancements in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
