Based in Mountain View CA. NeuroPace is a commercial-stage medical device company focused on transforming the lives of people suffering from epilepsy by reducing or eliminating the occurrence of debilitating seizures. We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer Test Development to join our team. This individual is responsible for the design development implementation and validation of advanced test systems used for production testing of complex medical devices. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise strong leadership capabilities and a passion for delivering high-quality reliable products in a regulated environment. This position will be based in the Mountain View headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Designand development of automated test systems for medical devices including hardware and software components
- Develop andmaintaintest applications using LabVIEW; leverageTestStandfor test sequencing
- Collaborate cross-functionally withEngineering manufacturing quality and regulatory teams to define test requirements and strategies
- Design and debug electronic circuits used in test fixtures and validation setups
- Drive root cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex system-level issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant medical device standards and regulatory requirements
- Support product transfer from development to manufacturing including test system deployment and validation
Qualifications
- BachelorsMasters in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field
- Extensive experience in the medical device industry or other highly regulated environments
- Strongproficiencyin LabVIEW for test development and automation
- Experience with NITestStandpreferred
- Solid background in electronic circuit design and analysis
- Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills at system andcomponentlevels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and leading technical initiatives
- Additionalpreferred qualifications:
- Use ofdesign for testability (DFT) and manufacturing test strategies
- Familiarity with data acquisition systems instrumentation and hardware integration
- Experience with / Exposure toregulatory submissions
$132K-$172K Base - Compensation will be determined based on several factors including but not limited to skill set years of experience and geographic location.
