Brief Job Overview
Design build and maintain secure and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on AWS ensuring high availability and scalability.
Design architect and lead the integration and installation of new technologies with regards to AWS and AWS integrations. Design build and optimize DevOps pipelines including multiple quality gates and quick feedback loops. Collaborate with application development teams to transform traditional web
applications into container-based environments using Docker and AWS Elastic Container Service/Fargate.
Act as a technical lead on a variety of projects delivering high quality in an agile environment. Develop KPIs establishing quantitative and qualitative metrics to track pipeline performance. Keep abreast with the rapid changes in technology and recommend suitable technology improvements. Monitor applications and troubleshoot any production issues.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field and four (4) years of related work experience.
Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:
ï Building AWS infrastructure and DevOpsX;
ï AWS foundational services and ECS/Fargate RDS ElastiCache Code Commit Batch Lamda Code
Deploy CloudFront Athena or Glue;
ï CI/CD and Agile tool sets including Jira Bitbucket Pipelines and Jenkins;
ï Linux administration and networking;
ï Containerization skills using Docker;
ï Maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform;
ï Programming/scripting languages including JavaScript Python PHP Java HTML or CSS;
ï Cloud computing and integration methods; and
ï Testing tools such as Sonarqube and CircleCI
