Acuity is seeking a Security Receptionist to serve as the primary front desk contact responsible for guest management assisting employees and providing administrative support while maintaining awareness of physical security protocols to promote a safe and professional workplace.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Serves as the first point of contact and maintains a visible security presence at campus entry points.
Oversees visitor management processes including monitoring the entry and exit of guests at Acuity Headquarters.
Appropriately addresses unauthorized individuals and accurately documents all interactions and incidents.
Assists with the creation implementation enforcement and update of formal security procedures.
Tracks and coordinates physical security access requests.
Creates newsletter articles pertaining to security topics.
Supports weekly testing and validation of security operations software and procedures.
Maintains authorization paperwork and Log of Issued Keys.
Assists in the annual tornado fire alarm and intruder drills at Corporate Headquarters.
Tracks and manages inventory. Places orders to ensure consistent availability of security wellness and general office supplies.
Coordinates special events by communicating with internal and external partners to ensure successful planning and execution. Assists during events as needed including off hours.
Communicates with emergency services and external agencies.
Oversees Lost and Found operations.
Regular and predictable attendance.
May be required to work from alternate company locations as needed for training business continuity or emergency recovery operations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional training or coursework in security business administration criminal justice or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience in reception administrative support customer service or security-related roles strongly preferred.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational teamwork interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with all levels of management employees and service providers.
Work mode will be onsite.
Professional appearance and demeanor representing the organization positively at all times.
High degree of skill in analytical thinking and problem solving.
High level of professionalism and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Ability to stay calm under pressure set priorities multi-task and meet deadlines.
Strong administrative/computer skills with the ability to create and maintain Word and Excel documents.
Near perfect attendance and schedule flexibility to meet the ongoing demands of a dynamic environment/facility. Shifts to be worked between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.
