As a Security Officer Access Driver in Brookhaven MS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help manage site entry and exit monitor activity and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license. Our team values agility reliability innovation teamwork and integrity while putting people first every day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers and employees by following site-specific access control procedures checking credentials and directing authorized individuals to the appropriate location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for the distribution location verify deliveries and pickups and help to deter unauthorized access to warehouses yards docks and other restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts supervisors and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Maintain detailed activity logs visitor records vehicle information and other required reports related to access control and security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter including gates trailer lots loading areas and parking locations as working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
