As a Security Officer Patrol Guard in Plainfield IN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas stay visible to help deter security-related incidents and support access awareness and customer interactions. This role is ideal for someone who brings professionalism strong communication and a service mindset. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and sharing information with management as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location including sales floors entrances exits stock areas and perimeter access points.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity suspicious behavior and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting concerns in a timely manner.
• Monitor store activity and support loss prevention awareness by observing customer and employee movement checking restricted areas and reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
