Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in West Mifflin PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls Transportation and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor and patrol assigned retail and transportation locations remain visible to help deter security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license with responsibilities that support a caring agile reliable and innovative team culture built on integrity and teamwork.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors customers and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access-related protocols and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and report conditions according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location including sales floors public areas entrances loading areas platforms parking areas and/or perimeter points as assigned.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior policy violations and/or unsecured access points to help deter loss disruption and other security-related concerns.
• Support crowd and traffic flow at busy retail and transportation locations provide directions and assistance and document incidents hazards and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
