Security Officer- Full Time

Heres What You Need

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And
• Associates Degree Business Administration Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Security or closely related field. Is preferred
• 6 months of security officer law enforcement or military police experience is strongly preferred
• Customer Service experience is strongly preferred
• 2 Years security law enforcement or military police is preferred and

• 2 Years healthcare or education is preferred

• DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire is required And
• ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And
• NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 Days is required And
• CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And
• TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required

What You Will Do

• Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities. Reports and escalates situations to the Threat
• Provides quality customer service to Texas Health employees visitors and guest.
• Responds timely to calls for service and emergency situations.
• Assesses the situation and utilizes appropriate de-escalation measures
