Job Summary
Heres What You Need
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent is required And
- Associates Degree Business Administration Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Security or closely related field. Is preferred
- 6 months of security officer law enforcement or military police experience is strongly preferred
- Customer Service experience is strongly preferred
- 2 Years security law enforcement or military police is preferred and
2 Years healthcare or education is preferred
- DL - Drivers License Class C and insurable Upon Hire is required And
- ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually 30 Days is required And
- NCSO - Non-Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2 (not required if have Level 3) 120 Days is required And
- CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 3 (2 attempts permitted). Biannual recertification. 120 Days is required And
- TASER Certification Complete Course & Certification (2 attempts permitted). Annual recertification. 120 Days is required
What You Will Do
- Patrol buildings and clinics for unlocked secured areas for after-hour entry.
- Completes reports by recording observations information occurrences and surveillance activities. Reports and escalates situations to the Threat
- Provides quality customer service to Texas Health employees visitors and guest.
- Responds timely to calls for service and emergency situations.
- Assesses the situation and utilizes appropriate de-escalation measures
