As a Security Officer Entry Control in WEST POINT VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and support a professional welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will help maintain a visible presence respond to security-related concerns and contribute through teamwork integrity and a people-first approach in a role that values agility reliability and innovation.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or contractors by following access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials issue visitor access in accordance with location protocols and report unusual activity or policy concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while documenting observations and supporting security-related response efforts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location including production areas shipping and receiving zones and perimeter access points as assigned.
• Help to deter unauthorized access support traffic and delivery coordination at controlled entry points and communicate clearly with staff regarding security-related procedures and/or restrictions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
