As a Security Officer Access Control Agent in Mckinney TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer where you will monitor entry points verify badges and credentials and support a professional welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence strong communication and attention to detail while reflecting our values of teamwork integrity reliability agility and innovation.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials checking visitor and delivery documentation and documenting arrivals departures and/or restricted area access.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support vehicle trailer and/or pedestrian entry procedures by directing traffic flow reviewing required paperwork and reporting unusual activity or access concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access control areas dock entrances parking areas and the perimeter as required by site conditions and post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
