Position: Security Manager

Duration: 3-6 months

Location: Winthrop ME

Work Location: Hybrid - 100% Onsite at 1705 US Rt 202 Winthrop ME until training is completed (approximately 3-6 months). Once training has been completed there will be an option for a hybrid schedule (Most likely work Mondays and Tuesdays onsite and the rest of the week remote).

Client is only willing to consider local candidates within an hour radius of Winthrop ME.

Job Description:

This contracted position services as the Systems Manager for Disability Determination Services (DDS). The position is critical in ensuring that the systems used by all staff within the agency operates effectively and efficiently. This role also serves as the primary local security officer for the DDS. The position works with users to troubleshoot daily system problems and works with various federal officials to manage the network servers and attached peripherals. The position handles hardware and software issues and various applications including BI print and correspondence and imaging.

Skills and Tasks:

• COMPTIA A Certification preferred
• Knowledge of FISMA Standards NISTCSF standards and CISA standards
• M365 (MS Office) OneDrive One Note SharePoint Teams
• Business Intelligence software such as SQL queries
• MS PowerShell
• System Center Configuration Manager
• Microsoft Active Directory group policy administrator
• New user set up configuration and assignment of roles/tasks within several programs including Systems Access management (SAMs) Disability Case Processing System (DCPS)
• Setup and installation of user laptops services printers
• Maintain access audits
• Provide network support
• Ensure user education of security standards is completed regularly
• Manage and communicate with building control
• Systems Intrusion Monitoring (Splunk)
