A well-established and growing electrical contractor is seeking a proven leader to join its Preconstruction team in a highly visible role supporting strategic growth across commercial and healthcare projects.

This position will partner closely with executive leadership and oversee a talented team of estimators responsible for some of the regions most complex projects. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who enjoys mentoring people improving processes and helping drive the overall success of the preconstruction function.

Responsibilities

• Lead mentor and develop a team of estimators and preconstruction professionals
• Review estimates proposals bid strategies and project risk assessments
• Support workforce planning recruiting onboarding and employee development efforts within the department
• Collaborate with operations project management and executive leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive process improvements consistency and best practices across estimating and preconstruction activities
• Participate in client meetings presentations and strategic planning discussions
• Help position the organization for continued growth and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Leadership experience within estimating preconstruction project management or operations
• Commercial electrical construction experienceorsignificant experience supporting healthcare-related construction projects
• Strong understanding of estimating principles bid strategy and project execution
• Experience developing teams and building strong internal relationships
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with Accubid and Trimble products
• Strong communication presentation and organizational skills

Preferred Experience

• Hospitals healthcare facilities laboratories imaging floors bed towers or other complex occupied environments
• Large-scale commercial construction projects
• Process improvement SOP development and team-building initiatives
