Position: SDET Automation Engineer
Location: Charlotte NC
Duration: 6 month contract
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as WinRunner QTP Silk Test and TestComplete.
- Implement and enhance automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the software.
- Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation and software quality assurance.
- Document test cases test results and defects clearly and concisely.
- Provide training and support to team members on automation tools and frameworks.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficient in test automation tools: WinRunner QTP Silk Test Test Complete.
- Strong knowledge of automation frameworks and their implementation.
- Experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Ability to analyze complex software systems and identify testing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in software testing or automation are a plus.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
