About the Oracle Veteran Internship Program (OVIP):
Oracle is proud to sponsor an internship and integration program that exposestransitioning military veterans and active-duty Military Spouses new to the corporate cultureprovides hands-on job-skill training and experience and offers enhancedprofessional and personal Oracle we are committed to thedevelopment and professional growth of our veterans and military spouses. Our paidinternship program is specifically designed to aidmilitary veterans transitioningservicemembers and active-duty military spouses new to the corporate sectorintheir transition to a career in the private or public sector.
Veterans and Military Spouses accepted into our program will work closely withcorporate leadership military veteran coaches and HR professionals to help preparefor a successful transition. Interns will engage in on-the-job training and professionaldevelopment in fields such as information technology technical/systems consultingtechnical support facilities finance human resources logistics marketing sales ordevelopmental training in sales or for customer support (as available).

Additional Information:
Hourly wage is $30 per hour. This is a 40 hour per week position

Sovereign Cloud is a team of smart motivated and diverse people that are focused on bringing the worlds most important work to OCI. We build and operate our government classified and sovereign cloud regions to be reliable and high-performance just like our public cloud. Our customers and their mission are the center of what we do. We strive to improve our knowledge of the challenges our customers face which we use to enhance our cloud capabilities and work together to deliver their mission.
Our Team
The Sovereign Cloud team is building next-generation cloud platforms that meet the needs of US governments state and local civilian defense and intelligence community customers. These customer segments require cloud services that are isolated from our commercial environment. We meet and exceed each customers security and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP High DoD IL2/4/5/6 and ICD 503 for the community we serve.
Responsibilities
Support a team of Product Managers that acts as the central resource and driving force for the conception design launch and go-to-market of government-focused cloud products.
Gain an understanding ofUS governments state and local civilian defense and intelligence community customers market and competitionto drive product adoption.
Support product definition from vision to roadmap and detailed product requirements.
Influence engineering teams to invest and iterate on the features the government market requires.
Run effective pilot programs and collect continuous customer feedback.
Create field enablement materials (blogs presentations) to explain how to integrate OCI services into customer architectures.
Partner with sales and marketing to deliver high-quality product collateral and ensure customer satisfaction with our cloud products.
Launch new services/features by working closely with marketing and sales organizations to maximize product adoption.
Your Qualifications
- Understanding of cloud platform technologies and how to apply them to real-world problems is desired. Experience as a project manager or in a technical leadership role with a cloud platform technology provider is preferred.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience building value propositions messaging and guidance for customers users and other stakeholders
Be able to work with and communicate internally & with the customer at all levels including engineers end-users partners and senior leaders

US: Hiring Range in USD from $18.17 to $34.62 per hour; from: $37800 to $72000 per annum.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
