Location: Michigan or surrounding states (Remote with travel)

Compensation: $90000 $110000 base commission

Accelerate growth across the flexible packaging industry.

Generate new business develop strategic customer relationships and drive profitable revenue growth.

Target markets: food & beverage consumer packaged goods (CPG) cannabis pet food coffee tea and related manufacturing sectors.

Own the full sales cycle: prospecting lead generation proposals closing and account management.

Significant autonomy direct visibility with leadership and immediate impact on growth.

Ideal candidate: hunter mentality existing packaging industry relationships proven track record in flexible packaging or related manufacturing industries.
Business Development & Sales

Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Develop relationships with manufacturers brands co-packers and converters.
-
Generate new sales via cold calling networking referrals and outbound outreach.
-
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close.
-
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Flexible Packaging Solutions

Sell stand-up pouches lay-flat pouches rollstock custom films and related packaging products.

Understand customer packaging requirements and recommend solutions.

Communicate product capabilities and manufacturing advantages.
-
Present customized packaging solutions to prospective customers.
Account Management

Manage and grow newly acquired accounts.

Build long-term customer relationships.
-
Ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Identify opportunities for upselling and account expansion.
Strategic Growth

Drive profitable revenue growth.

Understand pricing margins and business profitability.

Collaborate with internal teams for successful project execution.

Support company growth initiatives and market expansion efforts.
Travel & Client Engagement

Travel approximately 30% of the time.

Conduct in-person customer meetings.

Attend industry events and networking opportunities.

Strengthen customer relationships through face-to-face interactions.

3 years of B2B sales experience.

Experience selling flexible packaging products.
-
Strong hunter mentality with proven new business generation success.

Existing relationships in packaging food & beverage CPG cannabis or manufacturing sectors.

Experience selling stand-up pouches rollstock custom films or related products.

Strong negotiation and closing skills.

Ability to manage a sales territory independently.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

Willingness to travel approximately 30%.

Located in Michigan or a neighboring state.
