Job Summary
The Safety Administrator will assist and administer the corporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs and initiatives at the branch level.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Report progress comments and concerns to the Branch Manager regarding safety matters.
Conduct regular field and project safety and health inspections ensure statutes regulations and codes are clearly understood and intervene to stop any acts or processes that are unsafe or do not comply with Company Safety guidelines.
Implement preventative measures to ensure unsafe processes are not repeated and ensure all personnel follow all personal safety precautions.
Attend all Safety Team Meetings and facilitate communications as needed between all Branch Management departments and shifts concerning safety issues.
Advocate and drive employee engagement and participation as it relates to safety.
Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other rules and regulations pertaining to the facility and operations as necessary.
Conduct new hire safety orientations.
Assure training documentation is delivered to Safety Department for entry into the Learning Management System.
Deliver and assign safety training as needed including updates during field and manager meetings.
Train personnel as needed including forklift and scissor lift operation.
During field inspections assess training need or deficiencies.
Convey ideas clearly and concisely.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
3 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Ability to write and communicate effectively.
Capable of prioritizing tasks effectively and taking ownership of branch-focused projects.
Proficient in using Microsoft Products such as Outlook Word Excel and PowerPoint as well as capable of learning and managing internal proprietary systems.
Willingness to take initiative and provide support wherever it is needed.
Respectful and professional demeanor with coworkers clients and customers.
Ability to travel within the Branch Regions projects and job sites required.

Geographic Disclosure
Compensation Range: $28 - $32 per hour
