Job Summary

Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg (Oncology) Night Shift Utica NY

Facility: MVHS Inc. Utica New York

Location: Utica NY

Shift: Night (6:30 PM 7:00 AM)

Duration: 13-Week Contract

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Employment Type: Local and Travel

Pay Rate:

Travel: $60 $65/hour

Local: $52 $57/hour (within 75-mile radius)

Overtime:

Daily overtime after 24 hours and weekly overtime after 48 hours (based on applicable multiplier)

Job Summary:

Provide direct patient care in a Med-Surg/Oncology unit including monitoring patient conditions administering medications and collaborating with the healthcare team. The unit treats adult patients with oncology hematology GI endocrine nephrology and general medical conditions. Experience with EPIC EMR and common equipment such as IV pumps and NG tubes is required.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg experience (Oncology preferred)
Travel experience required
Active New York RN License
AHA BLS NIHSS and Chemo Certification required
EPIC experience required

56-bed adult unit
Floating required
No on call
