Onsite 21-Day Contract Night Shift
Pay Rate: $59.62/hour
Role Overview
A healthcare facility in Clinton IA is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 21-day onsite contract assignment. This role provides critical emergency nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment during night shift hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess monitor and provide emergency nursing care to patients in acute and emergent situations
- Implement and manage individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications treatments and physician-ordered interventions
- Collaborate with physicians respiratory therapists paramedics and interdisciplinary care teams
- Monitor patient conditions and document care accurately within medical records
- Coordinate discharge planning patient education and follow-up care instructions
- Respond effectively to high-acuity and rapidly changing patient conditions
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
- Current Iowa RN license required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong emergency assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication teamwork and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients and competing priorities simultaneously
Nice-to-Haves
- ACLS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
- Previous traveler or contract nursing experience
- Experience with EHR and emergency nursing documentation systems
Compensation
- $59.62/hour
- 36 hours per week
- Night shift schedule
- 21-day contract assignment
- Consistent scheduling during contract period
Schedule
- MondayFriday
- 7:00 PM7:30 AM CST
- 12-hour night shifts
- Onsite in Clinton IA
