Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Operating Room Registered Nurses for a Level 1 Trauma Center and teaching hospital in Syracuse New York. Candidates should have strong perioperative experience across multiple surgical specialties and be comfortable working in a fast-paced high-acuity surgical environment.

Requirements

Experience

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
Experience required in:
- General Surgery
- Orthopedic Surgery
- Trauma Surgery
- Neuro Surgery
- Robotics

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the operating room
Prepare and assist during surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons anesthesia providers and surgical teams
Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures
Document patient care accurately within the surgical environment
Support trauma and emergency surgical cases as needed
