Job Summary
Position Summary:The Regional EHS Manager is responsible for leading all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) programs across multiple Alta Equipment locations within a designated region. This role ensures full compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies while driving a proactive employee-centered safety culture. The Regional EHS Manager has full oversight of EHS performance and is a key leader in shaping safety behaviors and environmental responsibility across the Responsibilities:Strategic Oversight:Lead all EHS activities across the assigned and implement EHS strategies aligned with corporate and report on EHS performance trends and improvement duties as Culture Leadership:Championing a strong positive safety culture through visible leadership and employee and manage regional safety campaigns recognition programs and behavior-based safety safety meetings and employee-led safety teams at each open communication and reporting of near-misses hazards and safety regular safety walks and leadership engagement visits to reinforce safe & Risk Management:Ensure compliance with OSHA EPA and state/local regular audits inspections and risk assessments at all regional incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective & Development:Deliver and oversee EHS training programs for employees and onboarding and ongoing education on safety protocols and environmental site-level safety coordinators and employee Implementation:Standardize and enforce safety procedures across service shops warehouses and field hazardous materials handling waste management and environmental emergency preparedness and response & Collaboration:Act as the regional EHS leader partnering with operations HR and fleet a culture of safety through engagement communication and the region in corporate EHS meetings and initiatives. Qualifications:-Bachelors degree in occupational safety Environmental Science Industrial Hygiene or related field 5 years of progressive EHS experience preferably in equipment industrial or service-based knowledge of OSHA EPA and DOT leadership and multi-site management communication analytical and organizational to travel regionally up to 50%.Preferred Qualifications:Certified Safety Professional (CSP) CHMM or equivalent in heavy equipment fleet safety or service shop environments.
