Reference Data Product Senior Associate

As a Reference Data Product Senior Associate in the Planning and Analysis team you support enterprise reference data used for forecasting reporting and analytics. You partner with business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure data is accurate governed and fit for purpose. You help deliver and operate reference data across key domains while driving data quality governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather document and validate requirements for reference data enhancements and issue resolution
• Translate business needs into user stories functional specifications and acceptance criteria
• Lead and coordinate testing activities including planning execution and defect management
• Perform and oversee recurring operational processes such as data validation exception review and reporting
• Monitor and improve data quality across domains including completeness accuracy and consistency
• Manage the lifecycle of data issues including root-cause analysis and stakeholder communication
• Maintain and enhance reference data documentation including definitions hierarchies and mappings
• Partner across finance risk operations and technology teams to standardize data structures and usage
• Support onboarding of new data consumers and updates to existing data structures
• Contribute to initiatives that enhance scalability controls and governance of data platforms

Required Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

• Bachelors degree in finance business information systems or a related field or equivalent experience
• 3 years of experience in business analysis data analysis or data operations
• Strong experience in requirements gathering documentation and stakeholder management
• Experience supporting testing activities and managing defects in a structured delivery environment
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications Capabilities and Skills

• Experience with reference or master data concepts including taxonomies and data governance
• Familiarity with large-scale data platforms
• Experience with data quality frameworks and performance monitoring
• Experience working in agile environments using tools such as Jira or similar platforms
