Job Description:
Job Purpose/Overview
Client is delivering a global Product Lifecycle Management transformation program (cPLM) to replace our existing system used to capture and evolve knowledge about our products. This role exists to provide early-career functional analyst support to the program and its users by helping translate business needs into clear requirements supporting testing and training and contributing to high-quality product data and compliant processes.
As part of a global team working closely with R&D Quality Supply and Company Digital Technologies the Functional Analyst will support the deployment and adoption of cPLM across segments and regions. You will learn the system and ways of working through structured onboarding while building capability in analysis stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. This is an excellent entry point into a large FMCG environment with a strong track record of analysts progressing into core R&D and transformation associate roles.
Key Responsibilities:
User support learning & knowledge management
- Provide day-to-day functional support to key users and end users (triage questions capture issues and support resolution with digital/technical partners)
- Build and maintain user-focused knowledge articles FAQs and guidance to improve self-service and reduce repeat issues
Requirements testing & continuous improvement
- Support discovery workshops by capturing user needs pain points and process steps; help translate them into clear functional requirements and user stories
- Support testing (test script creation data set preparation defect logging retest) and contribute to user acceptance testing and end-to-end scenario validation
- Analyze incident and feedback trends to propose practical improvements to process data training or system configuration
Training deployment & hypercare support
- Support training design and delivery (materials demos job aids) for key user and end user communities with coaching from senior team members
- Support deployment activities and hypercare (floor-walking/virtual support rapid issue triage communications) to ensure a smooth go-live experience
Data quality & process compliance
- Support good data practices by following standards escalating risks and helping users resolve data quality gaps in line with global guidance

Context & Scope:
You will report directly to one of our regional Deployment / Capability Leads they will support you in understanding the program what we are trying achieve will help build from your existing food science knowledge on how we scale food manufacturing in R&D at Company and how our systems support that. They will also support you in understanding our digital landscape of systems that support R&D to develop specify and deploy new ideas to the market. We will then gradually start to give you activities to work on or support and increase the level of responsibility over time.
The role works with stakeholders across Corporate our Segments Shared Services and Company Digital Technologies to deliver and embed cPLM capabilities. Primary customers are R&D and adjacent functions using cPLM to capture and maintain product knowledge. The role is based in Nashville Tennessee and will collaborate virtually with a global team; some travel may be required for key workshops deployment activities and hands-on training support.
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Food Science Food Technology Chemistry Biology Nutrition or a related scientific discipline (preferred)
- Graduate or 1 2 years relevant experience (e.g. R&D Quality Supply laboratory technical data/analytics or business support roles)
- Interest in digital systems and data; prior experience with R&D/Quality/PLM systems is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
Knowledge / Experience
- Good understanding of food R&D processes including innovation food safety etc.
- Excellent networker easily builds rapport remotely
- Exceptional English communication skills (oral and written).
- Good understanding of using computer systems to do your work. Basic use of AI chat services to support your learning would be useful.
While this role will be support IT systems and business process our focus is on Food Science knowledge. We have recruited over 15 similar profiles and have an excellent track record of developing the systems knowledge in candidates.
