Job Summary
Youll join the Small Business Card Analytics team a strategic partner to the Small Business Card organization using data and analytics to accelerate growth improve campaign performance and deliver actionable insights. You will work closely with stakeholders to enable informed data-driven decisions and continuous improvement across the Small Business Card portfolio.
As a Quantitative Analytics Senior Associate at JPMorganChase within the Small Business Card Analytics team you will guide strategic decisions through executive dashboards ongoing reporting and deep-dive analyses that address emerging business challenges. You will assess portfolio performance to uncover optimization opportunities and translate customer behavioral datasuch as spend payment and engagement patternsinto insights that shape marketing strategies and improve card profitability through targeted campaigns and product innovations. Youll collaborate across marketing product finance and risk to turn complex analyses into clear recommendations that influence resource allocation campaign strategy and portfolio management.
Job responsibilities
- Manage and analyze large complex datasets from multiple sources to develop actionable business strategies and insights that drive measurable outcomes
- Apply advanced analytical and data mining techniques to identify meaningful patterns and translate findings into customer and portfolio insights
- Communicate complex analytical results clearly to business partners and senior leadership tailoring content to diverse audiences and technical backgrounds
- Deliver tactical and strategic insights across marketing finance and business functions using modern visualization and reporting tools
- Serve as a subject matter expert for data-driven decision-making advising on analytical approaches and methodologies
- Partner with internal stakeholders to solve quantitative business problems optimize performance and deliver solutions to critical business needs
- Contribute to data model development analytics architecture and broader data strategy alignment with data owners and technology partners
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by assessing data quality investigating statistical anomalies and connecting insights to business processes
- Independently manage priorities and stakeholder engagement executing with a high degree of autonomy and limited oversight
- Leverage generative AI and emerging AI technologies to automate repeatable work accelerate insight generation and improve decision-making processes
- Evaluate and pilot AI-enabled analytical solutions to support marketing acquisition strategy
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science Operations Research Mathematics Engineering Econometrics Statistics or related discipline with 3 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience
- Proven track record of delivering analytics and insights across multiple management levels including senior executives
- Hands-on experience with data mining techniques and analytical methodologies translating analysis into business strategy and execution
- Proficiency in Python or SAS for data analysis
- Strong SQL skills and demonstrated experience extracting manipulating and analyzing data from relational databases
- Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake Databricks or equivalent
- Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau Alteryx or comparable platforms
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills including comfort working through ambiguity to produce actionable recommendations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts in accessible terms
- Demonstrated experience adopting emerging technologies including generative AI and AI-assisted analytical tools
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience building executive-ready dashboards and performance measurement frameworks for marketing and portfolio analytics
- Demonstrated ability to influence prioritization and decisions through structured storytelling and clear recommendations
- Experience partnering across marketing product finance and risk to deliver measurable business outcomes
- Experience scaling process improvements that enhance data quality repeatability and reporting efficiency
- Expertise with generative AI Large Language Models AI-assisted coding tools or workflow automation platforms
- Doctor of Philosophy degree in a quantitative discipline is a plus
