Job Summary
The Quality&OperationsManagerisprimarilyresponsible formanagingandmaintainingthe companys Quality Management System including ISO/AS9100 compliance audit readiness internal and external audits corrective actions calibration compliance customer quality requirements and overall quality performance.This position serves as the primary leader for the Quality function and is responsible for ensuringthatproductsprocessesdocumentationandsystemsmeetcustomerregulatoryandcompany requirements.
In addition this position has secondary responsibility for managing day-to-day operations including production flow scheduling on-time delivery operational performance cost reduction facility coordination and continuous improvement. The role requires a hands-on leader capable of working across Quality Operations Engineering Sales and Production to ensure that the company ships high-quality products on time and in compliance with applicable standards and customer expectations.

- ManagetheactivitiesoftheOperationsdepartmenttosupportshippingqualityproductsthat meet customer requirements and expectations.
- Defineandexecutetheoperationsstrategyandimplementcostreduction&efficiencyprograms that are consistent with corporate goals.
- MeetorexceedOn-Time-Delivery(OTD)goals(OTDtocustomer&OTDtocommitdate) quarterly revenue and reduce lead times.
- Install a quality (5S) disciplined approach to operations activities to maximize efficiency and throughput.
- Maintain the Operations dashboard (daily update) and run the daily operations meeting.
- Support and maintain compliance with ITAR including serving as ITAR Empowered Official if required.
- Conduct employee training as needed including safety and ITAR training.
- Generate and administer required performance reviews.
- Effectively communicate to the team performance progress against group goals & objectives as well as company goals & objectives.
- Manage facility-related responsibilities; hazardous waste management SHE etc.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:ThispositionoverseesQualityandOperationsandisresponsiblefor setting priorities objectives and schedules.
EDUCATIONand/orEXPERIENCE:
- BachelorsdegreeinQualityEngineeringManufacturingOperationsoranothertechnicalfield preferred.
- Minimumoffiveyearsofqualitymanufacturingengineeringoroperationsleadership experience.
- StrongexperiencewithISO9001AS9100andISO/IEC17025qualitysystems.
- Experienceleadinginternalauditsexternalauditscustomerauditscorrectiveactionsand quality system improvements.
- PracticalknowledgeofrootcauseanalysiscorrectiveactionpreventiveactionFMEAPFMEA SPC Gauge R&R capability studies supplier quality and process auditing.
- StrongERPproductionschedulingandoperationalperformancemanagementexperience.
- ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeespeciallyExcelWordandrelatedreportingtools.
- Strongproblem-solvingskillsandabilitytodriveissuestoclosure.
- Must have a hands-on can do approach and be comfortable managing multiple priorities and diverse products.
- Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 ANSI Z540 calibration systems and regulated manufacturing environments a benefit.
- Experience in an electromechanical aerospace flow measurement instrumentation or job-shop manufacturing environment a benefit.
