Position Summary

Perform repetitive inspection following standardized methods and procedures. Visually inspect or check parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or against fixed samples. Check dimensions against blueprint or work order specifications. This role may work in other departments as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to use basic inspection instruments.
  • Ability to read and understand basic product specifications and work instructions.
  • Accurately record inspection results and maintain detailed records of testing processes and outcomes.
  • Identify and document any non-conformances or deviations from standards.
  • Must be cross-trained and able to support all Quality Inspector I roles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to use and accurately read measuring devices (tape measures).
  • Ability to use hand tools (hammer wrench level etc.).
  • Ability to follow blueprints.
  • Ability to read and interpret Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Ability to use a computer with basic proficiency (data entry).

  • Work in other departments as needed.

Work Environment

  • The position is based in a manufacturing facility which may involve exposure to loud noises varying temperatures and dust from production processes.
  • The position will be working in a brightly lit area.
  • Associates will frequently work near or with machinery with moving parts following strict safety protocols.
  • The facility operates on shift schedules with potential for overtime including weekends based on production needs.
  • This environment emphasizes team collaboration and adherence to safety regulations to ensure the well-being of all associates.
