Schedule: Standard Daytime hours Monday-Friday
Total Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 hourly wage
*The exact amount of base wage may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.
What Youll Do
We are seeking a dedicated Project Support Specialist that will complete defined project related tasks in support of Viking Electric Project Managers. Develop and maintain client and partner relationships with external customers representatives and/or vendors through building trucks and providing high levels of service.
You will
- Create and monitor preliminary status reports. Accurately provide shipment schedules to ensure project timelines are upheld.
- Request approval drawings from reps and/or compile into Viking Electric drawings operation and maintenance documents based on project requirements and assemble submittal drawing packages.
- Assist in managing the percentage of completion reports and ensuring proper job closeout.
- Assist with Direct Through Stock process according to customers expectations. Work closely with DTS Specialists and warehouse associates to plan for material receipts resolve problems and coordinate deliveries.
- Monitor digital tools and software to ensure accuracy and upload necessary project documents.
- Preform customer returns and work with Project Managers to resolve defective and damaged product issues including freight claims.
What You Bring
Requirements:
- Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
- Minimum two years of office experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows Microsoft Excel Word Outlook internet navigation and Adobe.
- Two years post high school education or equivalent experience desirable.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.
