PM for a product transfer of 3D Printing of Medical Component from sister site. The project will oversee the fit-out of existing manufacturing space to 3D Printing requirements with a construction period of approximately 3 6 months. Full process transfer of the process from Cork site leveraging SME knowledge for technical process transfer coinciding with site visits to Cork site.
Partner with site functions to ensure a consistent and clear communication strategy stakeholder management and external-to-site stakeholder communications.
Key Responsibilities:
Project management experience with strong communication skills
Able to prepare updates for senior stakeholders on short notice
Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate updates and escalate risks at the right time to mitigate impact to project timeline
Financial management including day-to-day spend full-year and future-year projections
Construction: Partner with onsite construction team to ensure fit-out is completed to the appropriate standard
Validation: Partner with Site QA team to develop and implement an efficient transfer process
PeopleManagement: Ability to ensure small delays do not derail critical items and work with embedded team onsite to ensure smooth implementation
StrategicMindset: Ability to think big picture and work with senior leadership on long-term strategy for the area/site
Technical: Interest/background in 3D Printing would be beneficial but not critical
Education:
Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution in Manufacturing Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related degree
Required:
3 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing setting
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate across multiple audiences including support teams peers and senior management in both written and verbal formats
Persuasive communication and interpersonal skills
Digital literacy including use of Microsoft Office tools
Preferred:
Experience in a Medical Device and/or regulated manufacturing work environment
Experience working in a regulated industry such as Medical Device
General understanding of manufacturing processes
Willingness to support global projects which may include travel
