POSITION DESCRIPTION & OVERVIEW
Title: Supportive Housing Program Manager
Reports To: Director of Housing Programs
Schedule: Mon-Fri Daytime Flexible but need to work during core hours of 9-3.
Compensation:
Job Classification: Salaried Exempt 40 Hours/Week
Union Representation: This position is not a union represented position.
This position supervises seven direct service staff one of which is a team leader that is the first line of support for the other direct service staff. The Program Manager is responsible forensuring that program is implemented in alignment with best practices and is in compliance with all contractual obligations.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Provide supervision leadership and support to the seven staff providing direct services to high acuity individuals experiencing homelessness.
Provide ongoing supervision and case consultation for staff.
Ensure that staff meets program expectations.
Collaborate with fellow program managers to create wholeteam meetings that foster mutual support professional development and high-quality service provision on the team.
Establish and maintain active working relationships with community partners and funders.
Represent Agate in meetings with other agencies businesses government funders and community partners.
Manage the financial resources of the initiatives within the budget.
Ensure quality file keeping and case documentation by direct service staff.
Oversee program reporting ensuring that programs are on track to meet contractual goals.
Ensure that services offered are compliant with Federal State and County guidelines and contract requirements.
Respond to changing community needs and incorporate best practices throughout the programs.
Ensure that required evaluation systems are in place.
Other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Sedentary work - Sitting most of the time with occasional walking and climbing stairs. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a demonstrated ability to provide leadership and supervision in programs designed to end homelessness. Social Work licensure is strongly preferred. A minimum of two years direct service to people experiencing homelessness and a minimum of two years social service leadership experience is required.
Be able to accompany staff on home visits including to apartments that may only be accessible through climbing stairs.
Have experience with Microsoft Office products.
Have valid Drivers License pass background check.
Have access to a safe and reliable vehicle.

Personal experience with homelessness;
Experience working interning or volunteering with people experiencing homelessness;
An Associates Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field such as Social Work (with accompanying licensure) Human Services or Family Studies.

This position requires use of your own personal vehicle for Agency business and will be required to maintain liability insurance coverage of at least $100000 per person and $300000 per occurrence. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Three or more years experience supervising staff working with people experiencing homelessness.
Licensed social worker (LSW LGSW or LISW).
Knowledge of and experience working within the homelessness response system in Hennepin County.
Fluency in languages used by our clients (Spanish Amharic Oromo Somali ASL).
