What Youll Do
- Own plant operations in a batch manufacturing environment ensuring safety quality and on-time delivery
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements efficiency gains and waste reduction
- Lead coach and develop production teams building strong bench strength and future leaders
- Optimize resource allocation labor utilization and production flow
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales Quality and Logistics to align production with customer demand
- Manage budgets and understand labor and production cost drivers ensuring strong margin performance
- Oversee equipment performance including basic troubleshooting maintenance decisions and vendor coordination
- Establish and implement KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
- 7 years of plant or production management experience ideally in batch manufacturing
- A hands-on leadership styleyou lead from the floor not from an office
- Strong understanding of production flow scheduling and operational bottlenecks
- Proven ability to improve efficiencies and productivity while maintaining quality standards
- Experience managing budgets labor costs and overall operational performance
- Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and maintenance decision-making
- Ability to develop teams and build a positive accountable culture
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
