Job Duties
The Office of Information Technology is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager who will be responsible for managing general IT procurement program and resources including centralized procurement contract development management
and administration procurement training and assistance and guidance to vendors agencies and public entities. Provides critical support ensuring that all IT procurements are done in accordance with the Code of Virginia the Department of General Services Division of Purchasing and Supply regulations. This position supervises multiple supervisors and requires significant knowledge and leadership experience.
Minimum Qualifications
Significant knowledge of Commonwealth of VA procurement policies and APSPM procedures; significant knowledge of Federal procurement laws for purchase of goods and services in compliance with state federal and grant awards; significant knowledge of VITA procurement; significant experience with eVA
Strong understanding of IT purchasing categories vendor requirements quoting sourcing and IT security requirements
Ability to analyze and report data communicate effectively orally and in writing
Experience providing supervision and training to procurement and program staff
Considerable experience with Microsoft Office Suite SharePoint ServiceNow

Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO) Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM)/Certified Professional in Supply Mngt (CPSM)
