Were seeking an accomplished Pharmacy Senior Manager to lead inpatient pharmacy operations within a complex 24/7 acute-care hospital environment. What Youll Lead
- Oversee 24/7 inpatient pharmacy operations including pharmacists pharmacy technicians interns and other team members.
- Lead coach and develop a diverse pharmacy team while building a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop implement and optimize clinical and operational workflows in partnership with hospital and physician leadership.
- Partner with senior leaders to advance pharmacy strategy quality initiatives and operational performance.
- Support pharmacy services across areas such as Critical Care/ICU Med-Surg Infusion and Emergency/Urgent Care.
- Monitor regulatory and quality standards and ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements.
- Manage operational and project budgets while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support safe effective and cost-conscious medication management.
- Use data drug-supply trends and operational insights to identify opportunities and drive meaningful improvements.
- Play a key leadership role in hospital expansion and new service development.
What Were Looking For
Were looking for a confident pharmacy leader who brings both clinical credibility and operational leadership.
Required:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
- Washington Pharmacist License at hire or willingness to obtain Washington licensure.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience in an acute-care/inpatient hospital environment.
- At least 3 years of leadership experience with direct reports including responsibility for hiring performance management and team development.
- At least 2 years managing operational or project budgets.
- Strong experience developing implementing and maintaining clinical workflows.
- Experience working collaboratively with physicians nursing and other hospital leaders.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) within required timeframe.
Preferred:
- PGY1 or PGY2 residency.
- Critical Care/ICU Med-Surg Infusion or Emergency/Urgent Care pharmacy experience.
- Experience supporting hospital expansions new units or new service development.
