Job Summary
Pay Rate: $65 to $70/hr

Schedule: 8-hour day shifts Monday Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

We are seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Alturas California. This role supports retail pharmacy operations medication dispensing patient counseling inventory control regulatory compliance and safe pharmacy services under the direction of the Retail Pharmacy Manager.
Responsibilities
Compound verify and dispense prescribed medications accurately and safely
Review prescriptions for accuracy drug interactions dosage storage and patient safety
Provide patient counseling and medication education when accepted by the patient
Maintain pharmacy records inventory controlled substance security and quality assurance standards
Support pharmacy staff resolve third-party rejection issues and follow state and federal pharmacy regulations
Requirements
Active California Pharmacist License Required
Bachelor Of Science In Pharmacy Or Pharm.D. Required
BLS Certification Required
Must meet federal state and local retail pharmacy service requirements
Strong communication customer service problem-solving and teamwork skills required
