Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities of a Personal Care Homemaker:
- Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing dressing shampooing hair care denture care shaving (electric razor only) eating mobility and transfers (following Elders Affairs Personal Care Guidelines).
- Household Support: Aid with light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming dusting mopping dishwashing and cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. Assist with laundry bed changes and menu planning meal preparation and grocery shopping.
- Errands and Essential Needs: Pick up prescriptions and handle other necessary errands as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Paid Personal Care Homemaker training program
- Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
