Operational Language Analyst Somali (OLAN 3) TSSCI CI Poly

Global Dimensions is currently seeking a Somali OLAN (Level 3) for a position in Ft. Meade MD.

• US Citizenship.
• TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Poly.
• ILR Skill Level 3 in Listening and/or Reading
• Must be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
• Bachelors degree or equivalent
• In lieu of bachelors degree an additional four (4) years of directly related applied practical work experience may be substituted for a total of eight (8) years experience
• Equivalent of four (4) years full-time experience performing translation of materials from the required language(s) into idiomatic standard American English.
• Native Capability
• Must have learned the required language since birth and have been formally educated in and via for a minimum of ten (10) years in a county where the language is an official national or commonly spoken language
• Exception: If the language/dialect is not an official or national language and formal education is not conducted in the language/dialect
• Must have learned and used the required language/dialects since birth
• Must have used the language for at least fifteen (15) years in a region where the language(s)/dialect is commonly used among a historically rooted population of resident speakers who employ the language/dialect in social cultural employment economic or other public sphere interactions beyond immediate family/household use
• One (1) year of experience typing on an English keyboard
