Onsite Lab Coordinator

The Opportunity:

In this role you will report to the manager of site services and will work closely with the Avantors Lab and Production Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

Hourly Range: $25 - $26

Shift: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm

Location: Boulder CO

What were looking for

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.

• Experience: 1 years of laboratory or related experience (academic lab experience considered)

• Collaboration Tool: Microsoft Office experience with proficiency in Word and Excel.

• Ability to conform to all customer requirements for background checks health and safety policies and security clearances.

• Experience in GMP or regulated environments preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Teams and inventory systems preferred

• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle) and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally

• Adaptable detail-oriented and forward-thinking

• Knowledge of inventory control practices (FIFO/FEFO cycle counting lot tracking)

• Understanding of chemical handling storage and safety requirements

• Ability to lift 25 lbs and work in a dynamic lab environment

Avantors Lab and Production Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma pharmaceutical educational industrial and high-tech industries with customizable flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support.

In this role you will:

• Provide laboratory support services which may include:Glassware washing and drying (glasswash) stocking laboratory consumables and supplies maintaining organization and cleanliness ofdesignated laboratory support areas

• Handling hazardous materials as part of waste disposal and disposal coordination

• Execute inventory management-related functions such as monitoring slow-moving and dead inventory conducting cycle counts yearly physical inventories and reporting.

• Providing daily customer service functions and communicating with the customer relative to inventory management and laboratory support needs.

• Responsible for all customer service-related functions including but not limited to order entry reporting maintaining metrics and cost savings tracking.

• Interfacing directly with internal and external customer points of contact

• Utilizing VWR and customer computer systems (SAP Citrix Intranet VWR ChemSW and other customer-specific systems) to fulfill job duties.

• Meeting established goals and objectives related to safety performance and quality.

• Creating programs and process improvements to enhance service efficiencies.

• Document changes management activities.

• Updates and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
