Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to support occupational health services in a manufacturing environment. This role will focus on managing workplace injuries employee health cases disability claims medical records and return-to-work programs. The ideal candidate will work closely with employees HR and management to ensure employee safety compliance and health support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage workplace injury and illness cases
- Coordinate employee return-to-work plans and accommodations
- Maintain employee medical records (paper and electronic)
- Support workers compensation and leave of absence cases
- Review disability claims and recovery timelines
- Conduct workplace assessments and job evaluations
- Support OSHA compliance health screenings and safety programs
- Assist with employee wellness and health promotion programs
- Conduct new hire health-related orientation and training
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and workplace regulations
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of workers compensation FMLA HIPAA and case management
- Experience maintaining medical records and employee health documentation
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience in Occupational Health Nursing or manufacturing environment
Work Environment: - Manufacturing and office setting
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
