MRI Technologist - Las Cruces NM 88011

Full time permanent onsite role.

Salary - $51376 to $66352/ year with benefits from day1.

$10000 sign-on bonus paid in two equal installments after 90 days and 12 months of employment

No relocation

Must-Haves

Registered in M with ARRT or certified by ARMRIT
Has or can obtain a NM state MRI license
BLS certification upon hire

Job Description
Schedule: this is a full-time position that will work in an outpatient setting.

How youll contribute

An MRI Technologist who excels in this role:

Reviews patient history and physicians orders. Educates patient regarding procedures equipment and exam to ensure patients understanding and cooperation.
When ordered prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
Prepares equipment and supplies.
Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
Enters transmits and reports scan results
