Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Sault St. Marie MI.



Contract Details

  • Days Mon-Fri 06:30a-3:00p when I have one tech working. After the initial week training any week where I have the regular tech and the agency staff the shift may be 4 x 10 hours.
  • Start Date: 8/17/2026

  • Hourly Pay: $ 42.00
  • Non-taxed Stipend: $ 1246.00
  • Weekly Total Pay: $ 2506.00
  • Weekend Requirements: The tech does not work weekends or Holidays

This position performs a variety of technical procedures that requires the use of independent judgment ingenuity and initiative. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist should have knowledge about Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation which includes the use of gamma cameras (both planar and SPECT) PET Radiation detectors/counters dose calibrators and the Quality Control of all equipment. The technologist should have knowledge about Radiation Safety Practices/Handling patient and occupational exposures dosimetry as low as (is) reasonably achievable (ALARA) techniques that include time distance shielding. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) guidelines pertaining to handling administering and transportation of radioactive materials. The technologist should have knowledge about Radiopharmacy which includes safe administration preparation measurement and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals for Diagnostic and/or Therapeutic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • (20%) Injects and administers all radiopharmaceuticals. Assays radiopharmaceutical activities. Calculates volume and activity concentrations for radiopharmaceuticals. Knowledge and use of dosages and/or dose ranges for radiopharmaceuticals as they are listed per protocol. Enters these records in a dose tracking system. Performs laboratory procedures including many aspects of measurement manipulation and preparation of radiopharmaceutical kits and unit doses.
  • (20%) Understanding of Nuclear Medicine protocols and procedures. Positioning patients on equipment per protocol and procedure. Knowledge of acquisition parameters used in protocols and procedures. Monitors patient during procedures.
  • (20%) Intravenous (IV) access starting skills. Appropriate site selection. Aseptic techniques when accessing patient.
  • (20%) Operates all Nuclear Medicine Instrumentation devices. Knowledge of Quality Control requirements for all equipment used.
  • (20%) Understands Radiation Safety regulations and procedures. Applies them diligently.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have 1 years of Nuclear Medicine Experience
  • Must have ARRT(N) or NMTCB Registered (or equivalent)
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
  • Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication professionalism and reliability
