Haumiller Engineering is a 100% employee-owned company that designs and builds custom high-speed automation assembly machines for medical devices consumer goods and industrial manufacturing.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Materials Team Lead in our South Elgin IL facility. The Materials Team Lead is responsible for leading daily material handling operations and providing training & support to Material Control employees while ensuring inventory packaging shipping receiving and communication are executed properly to meet departmental and company objectives.

This position is located at our South Elgin IL facility.

What You Will Do:

Ensure use of proper material handling practices and maintain inventory control through accurate transactions.

Assist Supervisor in day-to-day allocation of resources to complete daily tasks.

Effectively train employees on procedures in material control shipping receiving and crating.

Ensure cross-training to different roles within the department.

Communicate with suppliers receivers freight companies and staff for smooth shipment.

What You Will Bring:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED). One year of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to use a variety of material handling equipment including a forklift

Experience in domestic and international shipping procedures and methods
