Manufacturing Operations Supervisor Description

Our client a global leader in advanced medical technology manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead one of its high-volume production teams at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Reno NV. This is a hands-on role suited for someone with a background in industrial or manufacturing engineering experience in high volume manufacturing and a drive for continuous improvement. Youll oversee department staffing (a team of approximately 30) production flow equipment performance and operational KPIsall while ensuring a safe efficient and high-quality environment. Success in this role requires someone who can manage at every level of the organization from the shop floor to senior leadership. Manufacturing Operations Supervisor Responsibilities

Lead daily operations for a high-volume manufacturing area
Supervise coach and develop a team of approximately 75 production employees
Maintain a hands-on presence on the production floor to support operations
Build production schedules allocate resources and ensure staffing meets operational demands
Monitor KPIs identify performance trends and implement corrective actions
Lead root cause analysis for quality issues downtime and production inefficiencies
Drive Lean Manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner with Engineering Quality Maintenance and Supply Chain to optimize manufacturing processes.
Manage departmental labor overtime and operating costs while meeting production targets
Promote a culture of safety accountability and employee engagement

Manufacturing Operations Supervisor Qualifications

Bachelors degree required
3 years of manufacturing operations leadership experience required
High-volume manufacturing experience required
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment required (medical device aerospace automotive semiconductor industrial automation etc.)
Lean Manufacturing 5S continuous improvement and root cause analysis experience required
