Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of 12-20 Maintenance Technicians in a fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring equipment reliability minimizing downtime overseeing preventive maintenance programs and supporting safe and efficient plant operations.
The ideal candidate will have prior maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems and experience managing maintenance activities through a CMMS platform.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead a team of 12-20 Maintenance Technicians and Shift Mechanics.
Coordinate and oversee preventive predictive and corrective maintenance activities.
Ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders and equipment repairs.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and automated manufacturing equipment.
Support maintenance activities involving PLCs robotics AC/DC drives motion control systems HMI interfaces motor controls safety sensors and relays.
Utilize CMMS to prioritize assign document and track maintenance activities.
Monitor employee attendance timecards vacation schedules and staffing coverage.
Conduct training related to safety quality maintenance processes and company policies.
Collaborate with Maintenance Manager and cross-functional departments to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment failures and emergency maintenance situations.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards.
Required Qualifications
Must-Have Experience
Previous experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Experience supervising teams of 12-20 maintenance technicians.
Strong troubleshooting experience with:
Electrical and mechanical equipment
PLC systems
Industrial robots
AC and DC drives
Motion control systems
HMI interfaces
Motor controls
Safety sensors and relays
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
Education
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Engineering Technology Electrical Technology Industrial Maintenance or a related technical field.
Additional Requirements
5 years of hands-on maintenance experience working with mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic manufacturing systems.
Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
Strong organizational communication and leadership skills.
Solid mathematical skills including fractions and decimals.
Must be willing and able to work permanent night shifts.
