As an HVAC/R Building Maintenance Technician youll be responsible for maintaining the safe efficient and reliable operation of commercial facilities. Every day brings new challenges as you troubleshoot repair and perform preventive maintenance on critical building systems.
Responsibilities include:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC refrigeration electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
Troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
Maintain building systems to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
Inspect building interiors and exteriors including lighting flooring walls fixtures roofing and related systems.
Diagnose equipment issues and perform timely repairs.
Complete facility inspections and report deficiencies.
Update work orders in real time using a CMMS system such as Corrigo.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Submit daily purchasing card receipts.
Support production equipment maintenance as assigned.
Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergency service requests when needed.
Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Minimum of 4 years of commercial building maintenance experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills with HVAC refrigeration plumbing electrical and mechanical systems.
Experience maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration equipment.
Knowledge of building engineering systems and preventive maintenance programs.
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Comfortable using mobile technology and computerized maintenance management systems.
Universal EPA (CFC) Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Experience using CMMS platforms such as Corrigo.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Trade school education or documented apprenticeship in HVAC refrigeration or electrical systems.
