We are looking for an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong COBOL and mainframe technologies expertise. The candidate will help modernize and migrate legacy mainframe applications to distributed platforms using AI-assisted migration tools and modernization frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and modernize legacy mainframe applications.
Develop and maintain applications using COBOL and mainframe technologies.
Support migration of mainframe systems to distributed environments.
Utilize AI-based tools to accelerate code conversion and modernization.
Work with business teams to gather requirements and design solutions.
Perform unit testing integration testing and defect resolution.
Provide production support and troubleshooting when required.

Required Skills

7 years of Mainframe Development experience.
Strong experience with:
- COBOL
- DB2
- IMS
- VSAM
- CICS
Exposure to IBM Assembler is a plus.
Experience with batch and online processing systems.
Knowledge of AI-assisted migration or modernization tools is highly preferred.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
