We Are Looking For

The Machine Operator I is an entry-level position responsible for operating basic machinery under close supervision. This role supports production by following standard instructions and conducting initial quality checks. The Machine Operator Level I is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining low-complexity machinery. They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high-quality products runs smoothly and at capacity and is properly maintained.

What Youll Do

As a Machine Operator I youll be responsible for:

• Operating low-complexity machinery following standard instructions ensuring proper setup to produce product according to quality standards.
• Conduct initial quality checks under close supervision inspecting finished products for dimensional accuracy integrity and compliance with aerospace specifications.
• Report any issues or deviations to leads or supervisors such as machine malfunctions material defects or non-conforming parts providing clear observations for resolution.
• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials into machines verifying quantities and types against documentation under close oversight.
• Clean and maintain equipment and report any issues that arise to a lead or supervisor.
• Utilize basic computers skills to enter data into production systems and access work orders as guided by supervisors.
• Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear properly storing materials and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
• Follow safety protocols by wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and participating in safety training to prevent workplace hazards.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided. Previous experience in machine operations is preferred
• Eager to learn and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a structured environment
• Basic verbal skills to report issues and follow directives
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and assembly procedures under supervision

Special Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) orasylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
• ITAR Requirement
• 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

Schedule: Must be willing to work 2nd shift weekday schedule; Monday - Friday: 1:30pm-10pm.
