Are you an experienced Electrical or Mechanical Technician looking to take your career into the world of mission critical facilities Were seeking a skilled Mission Critical Facilities Operator to support a high-performance environment where reliability precision and uptime are everything.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technician with a strong electrical background commercial HVAC experience and hands-on experience maintaining complex building systems. Candidates with data center experience are highly valued but training and growth opportunities are available for the right person.
What Youll Do
Operate monitor maintain and troubleshoot critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
Support 100% uptime by ensuring all facility systems are operating safely and efficiently.
Perform preventive maintenance repairs inspections and system testing.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems including switchgear generators UPS systems ATS PDU equipment lighting and power distribution systems.
Maintain mechanical systems including chillers boilers pumps cooling towers AHUs CRAC/CRAH units and plumbing systems.
Work with building management systems (BMS) controls CMMS platforms and environmental monitoring systems.
Perform equipment rounds analyze system performance and identify potential issues before failures occur.
Assist with vendor and contractor coordination during preventative maintenance and repairs.
Maintain documentation update work orders and follow critical environment procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally during service events and emergency situations.
What Were Looking For
4-5 years of commercial or industrial electrical/mechanical experience.
Strong electrical background preferred (industrial or commercial).
Experience working with energized equipment breaker testing and electrical troubleshooting.
Commercial HVAC experience required (residential experience does not meet requirements).
Experience with chillers boilers pumps cooling systems or mission critical equipment is a plus.
EPA Universal Certification required or ability to obtain within 90 days.
Basic computer skills and ability to use work order systems email and Microsoft Office.
Strong work ethic reliability and professional communication skills.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
Preferred Experience
Data center or mission critical facility experience.
Knowledge of UPS systems generators ATS switchgear and critical power systems.
Experience with DCIM platforms BMS DDC controls or CMMS systems.
Electrical journeyman background.
Technical training apprenticeship or related degree.
Schedule & Growth Opportunity
Start on day shift for training.
Transition to rotating shifts:
7:30 AM-4:00 PM
4:00 PM-12:00 AM
12:00 AM-8:00 AM
Evening shift differential: 4%
Night shift differential: 10%
Overtime opportunities available.
Opportunity to convert to a full-time position after 3 months.
