Machine Operator Roll Form 2nd Shift

Base pay rate is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour plus $2.00 shift differential

2nd Shift: 1:00PM - 11:30PM Monday - Thursday hours may vary depending on operations

We are seeking a dependable motivated and team-oriented Machine Operator to work in our steel panel production department.  This position is responsible for operating a roll form mill to produce steel panels cut to custom lengths.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic positive attitude mechanical aptitude and a team first mindset take initiative and own their work while communicating with respect.  

Essential responsibilities:

• Operating a steel roll form mill loading & unloading steel coils with a forklift banding and putting away steel.
• Know how to properly run the equipment to make panels to specifications.
• General understanding of how steel panels are used in construction.
• Learn and cross train on other machines.
• Inspect finish products for accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work space.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively within the team to meet daily production goals.
• Willing to work with others in supportive areas of the plant.

Safety:

We supply safety glasses cut resistant arm guards cut resistant gloves steel toe footwear allowance provided.

Qualifications :

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work on your feet for 90% of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 40 - 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Previous Manufacturing Experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to understand and read schematics.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work independently but contribute to team accomplishments.
• Strong attention to details.
• Reliable transportation attendance & punctuality.
