Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator to support daily shipping operations and general office functions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment can manage multiple priorities and communicates effectively across teams and with external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate outgoing shipments including UPS LTL and freight
- Prepare and manage shipping documentation (packing slips bills of lading etc.)
- Schedule pickups and maintain communication with carriers
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery issues
- Maintain accurate records in ERP and internal systems
- Support general administrative duties and office organization
- Provide backup support for incoming calls and direct inquiries
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics shipping coordination or administrative support preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency with basic computer programs (Excel email; ERP experience a plus)
