Job Summary
Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support outpatient clinical services in an OB/GYN setting. The ideal candidate will provide quality patient care while assisting multidisciplinary teams across womens health and specialty care services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and clinical support in an outpatient setting
- Assist physicians and clinical staff during patient examinations and procedures
- Monitor and document patient information accurately
- Maintain infection control and patient safety standards
- Support patient flow and daily clinic operations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Assist with patient education and follow-up care instructions
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Current New York State LPN License required
- Knowledge of:
- Infection control principles
- Performance improvement principles
- Delegation principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous OB/GYN or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Experience supporting specialty practices such as Primary Care GI or Cardiology preferred
