About the role
We are actively recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Counselor (LCPC LPC LCSW-C or equivalent) to join our therapy team in California MD. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for professionals who excel at working with children adults and families communicate effectively and are passionate about supporting clients in achieving emotional well-being resilience and improved quality of life.
The role involves providing individual family and group counseling; conducting assessments; developing individualized treatment plans; and collaborating with families caregivers and multidisciplinary teams to support progress both in the clinic and in everyday life.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team participate in ongoing professional development and make a lasting difference in the lives of clients and their families across St. Marys.
What youll do
Conduct intake assessments diagnostic evaluations and psychosocial histories.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adults with emotional behavioral and mental health challenges.
Provide evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy (individual family and group) for concerns such as anxiety depression trauma ADHD relationship issues and adjustment difficulties.
Educate and support families/caregivers with strategies to reinforce progress outside of sessions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in treatment planning case reviews and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation progress notes and reports in compliance with clinical ethical and legal standards.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and stay current with best practices through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
Current Maryland license as LCPC LPC LCSW-C or equivalent.
Masters degree in Counseling Clinical Social Work or a related field.
CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain).
Clear criminal background check.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Strong communication documentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team adapt to change and manage priorities.
Passion for supporting children adults and families in achieving mental health and personal growth.
